Lamborghini is an estate with 80 acres of vineyards near the village of Panicale, near the border of Umbria and Tuscany. The estate was purchased in 1971 by Ferruccio Lamborghini. After his retirement from his family’s famous car manufacturing business he began growing red and white grapes on his estate. Today his daughter Patrizia Lamborghini runs the estate, which is now focused on growing Sangiovese and Merlot. The estate’s wines are Sangiovese-based.
